The works included new modular building extensions and extensive upgrades.

  • New modular building extensions to the existing mess facility.
  • The addition of a crib/dining overflow building.
  • Extensive upgrades to back-of-house areas including cool rooms, freezers, dry storage rooms and associated services.
Refurbishment of existing kitchen and dry mess:
  • Detailed inspection and reporting of dilapidated electrical and mechanical equipment to define scope and ensure RTIO compliance.
  • Electrical works expanded into a full rewire and LV distribution upgrade.
  • On-the-run design and construction of 2 × 630 A main distribution boards, including surrounding general arrangement and civils
Temporary kitchen and dry mess:
  • On the run design and construction  prior to works commencing.
  • Generator power control system and temporary LV distribution designed and installed.
  • One-of-a-kind semi-trailer kitchen integrated with insulated, conditioned marquee dining and containerised back-of-house rooms (cool rooms & freezers) to mine-site specifications.
